Jan 12th 2020 Gratitude/Appreciation

One goal for 2020 is to stay more consistent about my gratitude practice. I have started journals and made notes on my phone but I haven't found something I've stuck to and that worked for me.

My goal is to write/make a gratitude/appreciation list every day and go within more this year!
Dive deep and be more present! Not settling for bullshit and connecting back to myself!

For today, January 12th 2020

I am thankful for this computer that I was able to buy years back to be able to communicate with friends, coworkers, send and receive emails, sign up for courses, find out about yoga retreats, check social media, post new blog posts, write essays, learn about anything I want to, study something new, listen to music and podcasts, watch movies and tv, read articles and books online.
I am thankful for airplanes that allow me to travel the world.
I am thankful for clean air that I am able to breathe
I am thankful for my car that allows me to travel to and from work and to see friends and family!

 I have been working on clearing out my root chakra with my chakra therapist. I have been cleansing it with a frankincense scrub in the shower and then a rosemary oil afterwards. When we work with a chakra we work with it for at least four weeks. The first week we open the charka through singing bowls, light therapy and meditation. The second week we cleanse the chakra. Sometimes a chakra may need two sessions or more to cleanse it out if there's been a lot of emotions or blockages. The third step was activating the chakra. The final step was to ground the chakra!
